MoMac Innovations has announced the launch of Subdivision Map Maker, a new software platform designed to make interactive subdivision maps more accessible, affordable and easier to manage for property developers around the world.

Subdivision Map Maker allows property developers, real estate professionals and marketing teams to transform existing subdivision plans into interactive maps that can be embedded directly into their websites.

The platform enables prospective buyers to explore individual lots, view pricing, lot sizes, availability and other property information, all through an easy-to-use interactive map.

For developers, the platform provides a central dashboard where lot information can be managed and updated in real time, eliminating the need to continually update static plans, PDFs or engage a web developer to make changes.

Making Interactive Subdivision Maps More Accessible

Subdivision Map Maker was developed by MoMac Innovations co-founders Ryan McDonald and Michael Price, drawing on their experience in website development, digital marketing and the property sector.

Through their involvement in numerous property development and subdivision website projects, the pair identified a recurring challenge: developers wanted to showcase their available lots online in an interactive format, but the cost and complexity of building and maintaining these solutions often made them impractical.

Michael Price, Co-Founder and Technical Lead at MoMac Innovations, explains the thinking behind the platform.

“We’ve been involved in building a number of websites for property developers and subdivisions over the years, and one thing that comes up time and time again is the desire to display available lots in an interactive, easy-to-use way.

Traditionally, achieving this has meant investing thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of dollars, into a custom-built solution. Even after it’s launched, developers often still need to rely on a web developer or designer to update lot availability, pricing or other information.

We saw an opportunity to simplify that entire process. We wanted to create something that developers could set up themselves, manage without technical knowledge and integrate into their existing websites, at a fraction of the cost of a custom solution.”

From Static Plans to Interactive Maps in Three Simple Steps

Subdivision Map Maker has been designed to make creating an interactive subdivision map as straightforward as possible.

Users begin by uploading an existing subdivision plan or site layout. From there, they can trace individual lot boundaries or place markers directly onto the plan, assigning information such as lot numbers, sizes, pricing, availability and additional property details.

Once complete, the interactive map can be embedded into an existing website using a simple code snippet.

The platform is compatible with WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and most other modern website platforms, allowing developers to add interactive functionality without rebuilding their existing websites.

One of the platform’s key advantages is its ongoing management capability. Sales teams and developers can log into their dashboard to update lot statuses, pricing and information, with changes reflected immediately on their live website.

This means a lot can be marked as available, under contract or sold in seconds, without needing to modify the website itself.

An Affordable Alternative to Custom Development

Subdivision Map Maker has been designed to accommodate a wide range of property developments, from smaller residential subdivisions through to large master-planned communities.

With straightforward subscription pricing starting at $50 USD per month, the platform provides an accessible alternative to expensive custom-built mapping solutions.

Professional and Portfolio plans cater to developments requiring multiple interactive maps, while Enterprise options are available for larger projects requiring additional capacity, multiple users and advanced functionality.

Beyond reducing development and maintenance costs, the platform aims to improve the experience for prospective buyers by making accurate, up-to-date property information easier to access.

Growing International Interest

While initially developed to solve challenges encountered through the founders’ own property development website projects, Subdivision Map Maker has already begun attracting paying customers and interest from international markets, particularly the United States.

The early response has reinforced the team’s belief that the challenges surrounding subdivision mapping and lot availability are shared by developers across different markets.

“One of the most exciting things for us has been seeing interest from overseas, particularly the United States,” says Price.

“We built this to solve a problem we’d encountered repeatedly through our own work, but it’s become clear that developers in other markets face exactly the same challenges.

“Seeing people discover the platform, sign up and start using it for their own developments has been incredibly encouraging. It’s also given us some great feedback and ideas for where we can take the software next.”

What’s Next for Subdivision Map Maker?

The launch represents an exciting milestone for MoMac Innovations, an independent software and technology company focused on developing practical digital products that solve real-world problems.

With Subdivision Map Maker now attracting paying customers, the team is investing further into the platform, continuing to refine the user experience, expand its capabilities and introduce new features based on customer feedback.

The goal is to make interactive subdivision mapping an accessible, everyday tool for property developers and sales teams, rather than a complex or expensive custom development project.
